A mberle is an elf, granddaughter of King Eventine and niece of Princes Ander and Arion. His father Aine was killed by a gnome.
After having participated in an emblematic race, Amberle becomes the first woman elected, an elite elite to watch over the Ellcrys, a magic tree that protects the 4 lands of demons. However, Amberle's joy is short-lived when she discovers that the Ellcrys communicates with her, showing her images of a bloody future. Afraid, Amberle fled from Arborlon and went to find her aunt Pyria, sister of King Eventine.
TheWhen Wil and Allanon find her, Amberle realizes she has to go home and face her fate. To save the tree and destroy the demons, Amberle must bring a seed of the Ellcrys to Keeper. The road is dangerous and many are the enemies, but in her quest, the princess can count on the help of Wil and Eretria.
